OUR EVENTS
Essential
16/05/2021
Essential was our first post-quarantine concert in Barcelona. We called it a concert of the brave, to honour those musicians who can't overcome the will to perform even when the crisis comes. Because music is essential. Because art conquers all.

Raices Unidas (United Roots)
9/18/2021
The musical performance Raices Unidas was a tribute to the outstanding Jewish classical composers: Gershwin, Bernstein, Ligeti, and Weill. We collaborated with one of the most active associations within Jewish culture in Barcelona, the MOZAIKA platform. We also premiered the instrumental version of an octet for winds where the music merged with the painting of the great Ukrainian artist Sonia Delaunay.  To give it more sparkle, we offered a modern mix of live chamber music, soprano arias and all this in one of the oldest and most emblematic buildings in Barcelona: the Casa Adret.

Aaron Copland: an audiovisual dialogue
11/13/2021
The event was based on the compositions of the exceptional Jewish composer Aaron Copland. This performance was a new collaboration with MOZAIKA and the culmination of the Jewish literature festival "Sefer" in Barcelona. We created a multidisciplinary artistic experience: Small gems from Copland's chamber literature and one of his masterpieces for orchestra: The ballet "Appalachian spring" composed for Martha Graham was performed by our symphony orchestra. All this combined with the digital art of the world-renowned VJ artist Svitlana Reinish. This mix of classical and modern art created an immersive effect for the audience.

04/02/2022
We believe that art and culture are powerful instruments to awaken souls and unite humans against violence and war. In solidarity with the Ukrainian people, we organized a series of 3 live concerts in Barcelona and Girona. 80% of ticket revenue was sent to humanitarian organizations providing people with food and medicine in Ukraine.

3 Sopranos
05/06/2022
This concert was created to raise awareness about Ukraine in times of war. Three sopranos: Sara Beatriz Garcia-Castillo, Kristen Larsen, and Anna Slizinova, accompanied by incredible Malika Daulet, created a musical journey through the best opera arias and duets of all times. All this in a unique venue "La reial acadèmia catalana de les belles arts de Sant Jordi". 100% of “Row 0” tickets went to aid people in need in Ukraine.
